I225-226 series network card and a strange mofcomp or reinstall issue with wyday.com

Hello we are a small company using wyday.com for our licensing system.
Recently we've started to encounter users using our license system having issues registering the software (things have been ok for the last few years. It seems to be very specific with i225-i226 cards at this point we are recommending to users to uninstall. It seems out of the box the drivers are corrupted and disrupt the license from working correctly.

For those with older versions it when we use the link
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15084/intel-ethernet-adapter-complete-driver-pack.html

it will update and fix the issue. But for some reason with the current version your link will see it's current and not update it.

We found this issue with a few other cards but they seem to have been fixed.
The previous fix was to use Windows Mofcomp to recompile the driver and fix it.
Can you please Help .. I've tried calling tech support but they were busy and I was trying to file a bug but can't find anyplace but here.

Please help.

- Your operating system(OS) and build version

Windows 11.xxx

- System brand and model

Issues with machines containing i225,i225v,i226 network cards on laptops and desktops

- Your exact product name:

i225/i226

- Is it a prebuilt or the card purchased separately?

Both

- Is there any other error message?

No, often the card will operate normally for TCP/IP traffic but drivers are corrupted when our license software needs certain information from it.

- When the issue start happening?

Occasionally it will bounce itself (restart) and drop all traffic and this seems to occur more consistently when our application queries it. But only with a few of the ones that we've seen so far.,

more often our licenser throws an error when trying to accesses the specific network cards addressed above.

- Any software or hardware changes to your system and network router/switch recently?

As a tech support rep at a fx software company, I'm looking into an issue that has been occurring more frequently and only with intel cards.
To which the fix has sometimes been running windows mofcomp to recompile the network card driver (I presume). so i've had 8 artists using our software have this issue. But I'm not entirely certain what strategy will be practical for a quick resolution. and no on the router/switch thing.

- Please confirm if you are using the latest driver version?
28.3 from the driver pack.

Hello RevisionFX

Can you please confirm below information:

Are you starting to see this issue with the latest driver release?

If previous version of the driveris used, does the issue still persist? If no, please let us know the release version of the working driver.

Please provide SSU report from the system that are having the issue:

Confirmed that the old driver and even the new one unless uninstalled and reinstalled complete still causes this issue.

running mofcomp also did fix the problem with a non i255/6 card but I don't know what files are associated with 255/256 cards to just run the windows driver compiler on it.

Hi RevisionFX,

Thank you for your patience.

Upon checking, kindly work with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to get the latest NVM version update.

The latest NVM version should have a fix for sudden network drop issue on both I225 & I226.

Kindly let us know if you have further questions. Else if none, please confirm the thread closure.

It would be great to know which NVM update we would reference (as a fix) specific to the on-motherboard gigabyte i225 card (for starts) or similar onboard i225/6/v cards?
We will accept this solution after you provide us with NVM update links for at least two of your i225/6 cards and will test it with customers.
Additionally I'm handing this off to another tech.  Who may re-initiate this issue given the results you provide to us for users with this issue if they do not resolve them adequately.
Thanks in advance.

Also not clear what Hayat means by checking with OEM, are we supposed to ask Dell or Asus to update your drivers?

example: "I have a new machine and have tried to activate my license and get the dreaded TA_E_ENABLE NETWORK ADAPTERS. And, of course, I have the Intel I226-V Ethernet Adapter built into my new motherboard. It's an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS APEX ENCORE. I have the latest version of Windows 11 Pro and the latest OEM driver installed from Asus. When I try to activate, the adapter becomes disabled."

Is there a way to download fix?
Even the Complete Driver Pack is dated december, this pack did not fix it.

Hello Hayat,

I have an Intel I226-T1 network adapter, Intel is the manufacturer, where do i get NVM update?

I downloaded complete driver pack release 29.0 and only NVM update for I210 is available there, plus driver included for I226-T1 (1.1.4.42) does not work (probably because NVM update is required). 1.1.4.38 works.
