Hi intel partners,
We have 2 questions.
1. The i225/i226 LAN chip have three variants such as IT, LM, V, the firmware file seperates to three as well. Our customer is asking the difference of these firmwares. Where can we get the documents of these variants showing details?
2. We can't find the firmware bin file and release note of i211 LAN chip. Please provide.
Thank for helping.

Hello AlanAX,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
We understand that you wish to know the firmware details regarding i225/i226 series chip sets and adapters.
Please note there is no separate firmware .bin files for 1225 or 1226 series chip sets or adapters from our end.
However, if these chip sets are in an OEM board, The NVM firmware update is done through the file provided by the OEM for these chips sets.
You can know more about it in the below link. Here, the details are given on how to update the NVM file provided by the OEM :
Same details are applicable for i211 chip sets as well.
Could you provide us the system details (model details ) in which these chipsets are present? This will help us in understanding the the concern better.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Regards,
Sachin KS
