Hello,
after hours of web research i finally found the LinkNegProc which i hoped would solve my problem with the poor transfer rate in my ethernet connection. But no luck so far, after setting "LinkNegotiationProcess" to 2 my speed drops down to about 400 kb/s. If I set LinkNegotiationProcess to 1 my speed is about 5 MB/s which is still very frustrating for a 100 Mbit LAN.
My switch does not provide a webinterface so i can not deactivate poe on the port where my pc is linked to.
So the problem with the wrong speed negotiation still remains, does Intel intend to fix this somehow?
My system:
MSI Z77A-GD55 Mainboard with Intel 82579V onboard,
TP-Link TL-SG1008D Gigabyte Switch,
Cat 6a Cables
WIN 7 home premium 64-bit SP1
latest drivers installed
any ideas greatly appreciated
cheers
Harry
