Hello,

Section 12 of the Ethernet Controller I210 data sheet shows a list of board design documents to use when adding Ethernet Controller I210 to a design. Here is the relevant data sheet excerpt:

This section provides general design considerations and recommendations when selecting components
and connecting special pins to the I210. Intel recommends that these design considerations be used in
conjunction with the following board design documents:
• Intel® Ethernet Controller I210_82574 – Schematics / Diagrams
• Intel® Ethernet Controller I210-IS – Schematics / Diagrams
• Intel® Ethernet Controller I210-AT_I211-AT – Schematics / Diagrams
• Intel® Ethernet Controller I210_82574 – Dual Layout Review Checklist
• Intel® Ethernet Controller I210-IS – Layout Review Checklist
• Intel® Ethernet Controller I210-AT/IT – Layout Review Checklist
• Intel® 82574_82583 Gigabit Ethernet Controller to I210_I211 – Design Guide

Where do I find the listed documents?

I was able to find Intel® Ethernet I210-AS/IS Reference Design: Schematic by searching for Ethernet Controller I210-IS – Schematics / Diagrams in the Resource & Documentation Center. I get access denied when I click the hyperlink for Intel® Ethernet I210-AS/IS Reference Design: Schematic, but I can get the pdf if I click the Download button.

Where do I find the rest of the documents on the list?

Thanks,
Shady

Hi ShadyG,

Thank you for reaching out to Intel Ethernet Communities.

I regret to inform you that some of the requested documents are not available in the Resources & Document Center. In such cases, I recommend referring to the developer zone or IPS (Intel Premier Support) for further support and assistance.

Hi Irwan,

I cannot access any of the linked documents. How do I request premier access?

This link does not work: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/developer/premier-registration.html

This link says to work with my Intel representative to be granted access: Intel® Premier Support: Access and Login

I do not know who my Intel representative is.

Thanks,
Shady

Irwan,

I did review the link you provided. The link says I should apply to get access and provides another link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/developer/premier-registration.html

The registration link above does not work. How do I apply for access?

I requested premier access through a support ticket. I will update once I get access to the premier developer zone. I had to create a different Intel account, so my screen name is different now, but this the same person as "ShadyG."

Hi Irwan_Intel,

I still cannot find the documents by searching for them in the RDC (not by document number and not by title). I am still actively working this issue with Intel support.

Hello Shady_MTS,

I wanted to reach out to you again regarding the access to the Intel RDC for the documentation and resources. It appears that you now possess valid privileged access to the Intel RDC.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,

Irwan_Intel

Hello Irwan_Intel,

I was granted DZP access for my original Intel account with my mts email. However, I can no longer access the original Intel account after going through MFA because the Microsoft account used for MFA is different from the original email (this is very common with companies where the external email is an alias that is different from the Microsoft account email). I only have DZP access on my original account which I can no longer access. I got denied DZP access on my new Intel account (this one).

I can click on the links you provided and download the files, but I cannot find the files in RDC through a search or browse any secured documents in RDC which I should be able to do with DZP access. RDC is not recognizing that the MFA email I now have to use to sign in should also have DZP access. This is most frustrating because I have to ask Intel support to provide a link every time I need access to a new document, and there is no easy way for me to know what document I need to access when I do not even have access to browse or find the secured documents.

Here is an example of a document I should be able to find but cannot: 475120 (you already provided a link for it).

You can see in the following screenshot that I am signed in without any search filters applied, and yet there are no search results.

I am currently waiting for Intel support to get back to me on this issue.

Regards,

Shady

Hi Irwan_Intel,

My original issue where I cannot find the documents on my own in RDC is still there, but I understand that you cannot help with that issue, so it is OK to close this case.

Regards,

Shady
