Intel® Ethernet Controller I225-V disables itself

We have an issue where Intel® Ethernet Controller I225-V disables itself.

  • Intel i225-v would disable itself and you cant re enable it

  • if you change and NIC settings it freezes device manager \ the settings box

  • rebooting the pc causes it to get stuck on the restarting page

  • adaptor goes back to normal and you can only re enable once a reboot has taken place

Motherboard: ASUS ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI AMD Motherboard

Intel® Ethernet Controller I225-V Driver V: 1.1.4.42

we have tried the usual remedies including driver updates \ re installs

Hi bencassar,

We have analyze the logs and since you are currently using ASUS ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI AMD Motherboard, you may try using the latest Asus driver from Asus website:

https://www.asus.com/in/motherboards-components/motherboards/proart/proart-x670e-creator-wifi/helpdesk_download?model2Name=ProArt-X670E-CREATOR-WIFI
