Hello,
I have a XXV710-DA2. I am running Ubuntu 24.04.
I attempted to update the firmware. On the fist run nvmupdate64e was VERY slow to detect but when it did it said firmware update available.
I walked away and let it run, when i came back it looked like it had completed.
However, after I've rebooted it is no longer detected in lspci, nothing in dmesg.
nvmupdate64e is not saying no device detected.
Have I some how bricked this device? Is there anyway to recover it?
Ugh!! Please help!!
thanks!!

So that means your card is also now "defective" right? You are unable to use it ?

Yes, the card's firmware was cleared and unable to use.
After searching, we may need lanconf64e tool and firmware to re-flash the card.

I am very lucky, after turn off server and re-seat the card as some other thread suggest, the card had rollback to previous firmware.
For me the original firmware is 6.0.1. I will try to upgrade version by version with ubuntu 20.04 and report back.

Upgrade success path: 6.01 -> 6.8 --> 7 --> 7.3 --> 8 --> 8.7 --> 9.0 --> 9.52.
