Hello,
I have been using a l211 gigabit network connection with a Cat8 ethernet cable for a year now and it worked fine until today. However now i do not have internet access anymore - my connection crashed while I was using my computer.
I tested the cable on another computer and it's fine, so the router and the cable are not the issue.
The internet icon on the task bar remains the same as usual and it displays that I have internet access, however I am unable to connect to any website or online service.
I also checked, and I am on auto negotiation in the l211 settings.
Can someone help ? I have no idea how to fix this or what could be the cause of the problem

Hi Nico92100,
Thank you for the posting in Intel Ethernet Community.
Have you attempted a loopback test by pinging your localhost address? The localhost, also represented by 127.0.0.1, functions as a loopback address. Additionally, can you let us know what your computer model is?
Best regards,
