I have spent a small fortune in time trying to find the specs on this desktop adaptor and searching through the volume of information on the Intel Support site I was unable to find anything of value to help me try and identify what kind of a card this is - PCI, PCI Express or What? Can someone please help shed some light on this mysterious card. I would like to put them to use old as they may be but I still have a lot of legacy equipment that still works
Thanks! And hope someone can help me out on this one.

Again, my question still exists through the mountain of information presented at Intel.com, I have read tons of information on this card but nothing really tells me what I am looking for. A CNR. card? Is that some kind of vendor specific thing?

The Wikipedia article given contain all information needed about CNR. Here is a card picture -

Unlikely you will find anything suitable for such card - support was dropped around i845 chipset line.
