Remote Upgrade from 8.1.5 to 14.0

I am currently running version 8.1.5 of the driver On Windows Server 2003 Standard with a 1000MT Dual port card (attached to 2 switches). I am trying to upgrade with PRO2KXP_v14_0.exe and I get the following error: "The installed version of Intel PROSet is not supported for upgrades. You must uninstall it before installing this version."

I am doing this upgrade via remote desktop so I need to know if I can uninstall PROSet without losing connectivity permanently.

As long as you don't have any teams installed, yes.
