Under moderate rx packet rates (~10Mpps) there's significant performance issues with the driver's WPP trace logging, presumably on the data-path for some reason.
I'm quite confident it's indeed the driver actually invoking this, given other cards (e.g, Mellanox) at far higher packet rates do not exhibit this behavior.
Attached is the SUS output which appears to be standard here.
Thanks,
Matt.

Hi Matt,
Good day and thanks for posting in the Intel Community Support.
May I know was there any changes made to the NIC prior to this performance issues?
Please ensure if you have set the autonegotiation on the network adapter, the switch should be in autonegotiation mode. Do the same if you set the network adapter to 1000 mbps, the switch should be in 1000 mbps.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks,
Faez_Intel

Hi Faez,
This is an issue related to driver implementation. It'll need to be looked into by an engineer/developer of the driver software.

Hello Emjayen,
Good day.
May I know if you are using the latest drivers for the NIC? Also, may I know if you are using the Intel generic drivers or if this is from an OEM NIC?
Thanks,

Hi Faez,
Yes, these are the latest drivers according to the ISM software (and a manual check). They are generic drivers; this is an add-on card.
