X710-DA2 for OCP and SFP+ AFBR-709DMZ-IN2

Hi , 

 

My servers :  Dell C6420

I use X710-DA2 for OCP network card and SFP+ AFBR-709DMZ-IN2.

My OS is : PROMOX 8 

 

i get and error message  :

i40e 0000:17:00.0: Rx/Tx is disabled on this device because the module does not meet thermal requirements

i40e 0000:17:00.0: Refer to the intel(R) Ethernet Adapters and Devices User Guide for a list of support modules.

 

The matrix of supported device refer to SFP+ AFBR-709DMZ-IN2 as supported :

For this Erorr i40e 0000:17:00.0: Rx/Tx is disabled on this device because the module does not meet thermal requirements :


Check Thermal Requirements: Ensure that the thermal conditions within your server are within acceptable limits. High temperatures could trigger the disabling of the Rx/Tx functionality to prevent damage to the hardware. Check for any cooling issues or inadequate airflow within the server chassis.
