Hi community team,
I want to use the pci_vip from synopsys for my simulation tb setup along with Avalon-st as an endpoint .
My queries is weather we can use both the serial and pipe interface of vip to do the enumeration of av-st ?
If both the interface are supported by avst, then where should we define the interface in avst pcie core.
Please Note: I don't want to use the simulation tb generated by qsys. I want to use the 3rd party pci_vip from synopsys.
Regards,
Piyush

Hi,
To be honest, I am not familiar with Synopsys tools as I am focusing on Intel PCIe IP.
If your question is about Stratix 10 AVST can support Serial Pipe or not, then you can refer on the user guide.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683111/21-1/introduction.html
The pipe interface is available under simulation only where you can refer under Section 3.15
While the information about Serial and PIPE you can refer under Section 5.2.1
Hope this answer your question, let me know if any further clarification is needed.

Hi Wei Chuan,
My question is little generic only - can we use the serial and pipe interface both in simulation for enumeration ? leave the synopsys vip.
Attaching the figure showing pipe and serial interface.
