Difference between modular sgdma and sgdma controller

I'm new to qsys. I'm working on an application that would transfer data from memory into the FFT core and back to memory.

Would I be able to use a MM to ST sgdma to input data into the fft sink and use a ST to MM sgdma to store the fft source back into memory? Would I need a FIFO for this application?

It seems the configurated FFT I want to run has a rate of 72 bits per symbol. The SGDMA only has a rate of 8 bits per symbol and I get an error that the sink and sources rates don't match. How do I fix this?

Hello,

Maybe you had a solution for your problem?

I'm faced with the same issue.
