How to generate a Preset qprs file for DDR4?

Dear Sir,

I have a question about the Preset qprs file. Because I am using a DDR4 SODIMM module which has no similar design in the Preset list. Can I create a new one? Suppose, yes. Do I need to key in all parameters in New Preset? Are there any other way faster? For example, reading a setting file from the Micro into Quartus. And especially, there are also many paramters that I may not know well, because I can't find those in the memory spec. Thanks.

Hi Peter, If the preset is not exist. User have to create by their own. See this KDB link:

From other thread, I understand that you are using terasic board, I will suggest you contact terasic and get those setting from them. Or they suppose will have an example design for their board. You can refer the parameters from their example design.

Hope this helps.
