Dear Sir,
We are using Altera Cyclone II FPGA EP2C35F672I8 on our custom board. We are using CFI flash IP integrated to the FPGA and the FPGA consists of 32K of onchip RAM. We are facing the problem of accessing the contents of the flash (CFI Query) through the NIOS II processor. The FPGA allocates 2K of RAM memory to the program memory and the rest 29K to the stacks and heaps. We are using the same configuration on a different custom board, which has a SDRAM mounted on it and we are not facing any problems on that board. I would like to know if we can access the flash without using any external RAM?Link Copied
