I want to use several word align patterns for 8b/10b codec and standard pcs, so i have K28.5 - and 28.5+ with different values in hex. How can i use field "word align pattern" in Quartus 13.1 Native PHY IP Core in mega wisard gui to set several patterns Or may be I have another way?. I tried ; , . : So can i use it in such a way?

Hie,

You will need to use the Word Aligner in synchronous state machine (or sync sm) mode in Native Phy IP core to specify specific patterns to be used for word alignment. However, you cannot use for several pattern as sync_sm only supports one type of pattern.

Nathan
