Shutting down PCI Express IP

Hi,

I was trying to test a Endpoint circuit that uses the Stratix IV PCI Express Hard IP and wanted to see how it behaves during shutdown. Does anyone know how you tell the device to turn off, perhaps switch from D0 to D3HOT state?

I tried via the BFM to write to the PMCSR register for it to shut off, but all it did was switch the LTSSM to the recovery state, train and back to normal. What about the pme_to_cr/sr signal, should those be changing here? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
