Hello,
I would ask if there is any possibility to obtain mentioned license for student purposes? It's just I need it to finish my Master Thesis, because in my theme I need to use FFT. My theme is to prepare a device for calculation of THD and it has to be analog-digital device. In an analog part I'm using filtering of the signal, and then filtered one I'm passing to FPGA. Then I have to make an FFT and then calculate the magnitude of the harmonics and based on that calculate the THD.
I thought after reading the docs for this core, that it can be used "for free" if it would not be sell later, but after more or less 2-3 weeks from generation of the library, now when I'm trying to compile my project I got an error that I have no license to use this core. I'm finishing master of electronics on Warsaw University of Technolofy on Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology. I'm waiting for your reply in this regard hoping there would be a solution which will not include paying a lot of money just to finish Master studies :)
Greetings,
Mariusz

Hi Mariusz,
You can use 'Evaluation Mode' to generate time_limited *.sof programming files, please refer the ' 2.1.1. Intel FPGA IP Evaluation Mode' from the below FFT IP core user guide,
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug_fft.pdf
Please keep backup of the project, delete 'db' & 'Incremental_db' directories from the project directory then remove IP from project & add again the IP.
By default enabled Intel FPGA IP Evaluation Mode feature check below link.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/download/megacore-ip.html
And for buying IP please refer the below link.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/buy/intellectual-property.html
or
Please refer to Intel® FPGA Licensing Support Center to get started, find information on license types, getting a license file, setting up a license file, and resolving license-related issues.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/support-centers/licensing.html
Otherwise for license file request and activation, log in your “My Intel” account to find Intel FPGA Self Service License Center and submit Contact Customer Service form.
Regards,
Vicky

Hi, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately I still have an error "Error (204009): Can't generate netlist output files because the license for encrypted file "C:/Users/Mariusz/Desktop/praca magisterska/kody/vhdl/fft prime/fft/synthesis/submodules/auk_dspip_r22sdf_stg_pipe.vhd" is not available"
I think I did everything as you told me. First I deleted db and incremental_db folders from my directory, then I removed all the FFT files from the project and generated it all from the beginning. Then I added the newly generated files for the IP to the project and try to compile it. I'm not sure what is still the problem
