How do we enabled this to create traffic generator connection?

I am using . I am using Quartus Prime 20.1.

Regards,

Chris

Hi Chris,

I have checked in internal data for this related issue.

It's seem that the "Create Traffic Generator Connection" only works with Traffic Generator 2.0.

Try to avoid clicking on that because it's might cause the Tools to hang.

Regards,

Adzim

Did you generate the example design?  I think you have to use the example design to connect to this with the EMIF toolkit.

Hi Adzim,

Since we are having a similar problem I am taking the liberty of continuing with a question.

Our custom board is using an Arria 10 SoC, and we are running Quartus Prime Pro 23.4.0

Question:

If I shouldn't click on "Create Traffic Generator Connection" then how am I supposed to actually run the TG?

Thanks

David

As noted, the option mentioned was for TG2, not the original traffic generator.  I think only the original TG is compatible with A10 so trying to enable that option to try to use TG2 instead would cause the issue.
