Arria 10 unused VCCIO banks

We are using Arria 10 FPGA in our product. If a VCCIO voltage bank is not used (as we don't use the IOs associated to that bank), shall we connect that unused VCCIO voltage bank to GND or a known voltage, or can we leave that bank unconnected ?

Hello,

For Arria 10, POR would monitor the VCCIO of BANK 2A, that means you must power VCCIO of BANK 2A on, even if you don't use any GPIO in it.

For the VCCIO of other BANKs, you need to power in on as well. these pins could not be left floated.

Best regards,

Nazrul Naim
