I am having difficulty researching FMC+ pin mapping data between two products: Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA I-Series Transceiver-SoC Development Kit and Intel® Stratix® 10 SX SoC Development Kit. I am upgrading a design from Stratix to Agilex and I need to identify the functions/types/details of all Stratix connections/pins that aren’t supported on the Agilex board and select new alternative pin locations in the FMC+ connector that are supported in the Agilex. I have attempted to locate the necessary documentation on the site, but I am not able to find equivalent pin mapping documentation between the two products. The relevant information is not available in the schematic pdfs. I see some pin mapping tables in to Stratix user guide, but none in the Agliex user guide nor the data sheets. Where will I find the details that I am looking for?

Hi There,
This is Ethan from Intel AE team.
I am afraid that there is no documentation about migration from specific device to device.
You can refer to the pin-out file for the pin connection.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/programmable/support-resources/devices/lit-dp.html
Since your board is dev kit, you could also refer to the board design file in installer package.
Does it meet your request?
Thanks,
Ethan

Thank you for your assistance. A couple of follow up questions:
- What is HPS? I see I-Series FPGA Devices (with and no HPS)
- How do I know which AG designation is the correct one (AGIA023,AGIC023, AGIA040 etc)?

Hi,
1. For HPS (Hard Processor System), you can refer to the documentation below.
Intel® Agilex™ 7 Hard Processor System Technical Reference Manual
2. Every device has its own ordering part number (OPN), please check the OPN with your board and select the correct one from the web page.
For OPN, you can refer to the Device Overview
Intel Agilex® 7 FPGAs and SoCs Device Overview
Thanks,
Ethan
