Hi everyone,
I have an Altera DE1 board, and I am trying to find an easy way to connect the Altera DE1 to an external breadboard. Since the two plugs are 40 pin connectors that fit the standard IDE hard drive cables, I was thinking of using one of those and running it to my breadboard. But, I need a way to connect the other end to my breadboard. I saw something to do it, but the company is closed for two weeks (See attached image). How are you guys accomplishing this?Link Copied

IDE cables are pretty common / cheap so you could always just cut one of the connectors off, separate and strip the individual wires and go from there. Its cheap and dirty.
