No JTAG access on MAX10 FPGA Dev Kit

When using my ByteBlaster on this Max 10 Dev kit, I receive a No Device Detected error.

Using the built in mini USB on the board, I see nothing at all. Quartus doesn't recognize any programmer connected when I try this.

I did have one successful program when I first tried it, but since then, I only see what I described above.

I'd certainly appreciate if anyone had any insight.

So you've clicked Hardware Setup in the Quartus Programmer and the USB Blaster does not appear for you to select? Perhaps you need to reinstall the USB Blaster drivers.

Hi,

  1. Have you Turned ON the board?
  2. Check if the USB cable is connected to the USB port J12 of the kit? or if you are using external USB blaster chek the JTAG header connection?
  3. Is USB BLASTER visible on the programmer hardware setup? if no, the USB cable may be faulty replace it and check.

Also, you can reinstall the USB blaster driver and check

Regards

Anand
