Quartus Prime lite 19.1 programmer wont respond when I hit program/autodetect

The programmer has been buggy in 19.1 lite. Im on windows 10 using DE10-lite board (max10).

I got it to work once this morning, but the other times i hit program or autodetect, the programmer does nothing, and the little swirly mouse pointer appears. No progress bar or anything. Wont let me do the JTAG chain debgger either. No warning errors or messages. My drivers are updated, and I have only had my board for a week.

Also hitting "stop" does nothing. The only way i can get the process to halt is to unplug my board.

Any tips would be appreciated

hello ShafiqY, thanks for your response. I was able to solve my problem by downloading the standalone usb blaster programmer. Then everyhting works fine.

Hi DMead,

You may refer to Attachment PDF.

Make sure you follow step 1-11. It might seems repeated step, actually it not.

Please let me know the result after you follow this 11 steps.

Thanks
