The UAV has numerous stereovision sensors and IR sensors, and uses this information for environment mapping in 3D as well as obstacle avoidance.
(So heavy video processing is to be expected)
Which is why Im thinking of using a SoC FPGA due to its processing power and flexibility.
This would also be my first time using a FPGA for a design, so Im quite unsure about which SoC FPGA series I should choose and what I should be looking for when selecting these.
As stated above, the purpose of the SoC FPGA will be video processing, sensor data processing, motor driver control, communication with ground control station, etc.
Would it be possible to receive a few recommendations for my application?

Hi,
We do not have the direct example for our GHRDs, but there are third party that uses our Cyclone V SoC:

You may check it out if the specs is what you opt for, you may contact them for more info.
