Hi,
I'm new to FPGA and currently searching for a kit which can be programmed in both Verilog and VHDL. It should have at least with 7-segment display. My budget is 400 and below. I read about Terasic SoCkit and started to like it but the demo video says it cannot be programmed by VHDL. jovenLink Copied

The Terasic MAX10 based DE10-Lite is a good starter board that is inexpensive and has the displays you want. The CycloneV based DE0-CV is a bit more expensive but has a more powerful FPGA series. Both would be good choices for Verilog/VHDL learning vehicles.
Any of the Terasic Cyclone series and MAX10 series use the Altera (Intel) Quartus II (Prime) development environment which is free for the entry level version, and supports both Verilog and VHDL language compilation.- Mark as New
