FPS drop/lagging issue on my I5-12450H Intel graphics Laptop

Am having issues while gaming (this doesn't happen always but sometimes like at least once a day) when suddenly the FPS drops completely to 10FPS and it starts lagging/stuttering and after restarting the laptop it works fine for a moment but starts lagging again. This is a recent issue because i have had this laptop for a while had no issue, but from now am having this issue from a week or two I kinda believe it is maybe because of a recent driver update that I have got.

I have attached my SSU file so please go through that and help.

After checking the logs I can confirm that your driver version is up to date according to the honor website since you’re using an honor and the driver they have is custom made for computer: https://www.hihonor.com/uk/support/downloads/

Your system model is HONOR MagicBook X 16.

If you still want to try another driver and see if it makes any difference, you can use the generic driver from the Intel website. Here is the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html

I would like to know if you have followed the other steps in this article: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000030302/graphics.html

Also what is the name of the game that is causing you problems?

1st one, I tried and the specs are suitable (game: valorant) and when the FPS drops I cam back to check my CPU usage which is at 10-15% but the clock speed has drastically dropped below 2GHz (which should be this processor's base speed) to 0.50 - 0.75Ghz, so I thought maybe its cuz my lap is overheating so the CPU is throttling but its not the case max temp is around 96-97 degree Celsius, and btw this happen all the times i game, only sometimes and when I restart the LAP it works fine, also btw the whole lap laggs when cps drops below base speed,

2nd one, I have installed the intel driver assistant and it installed intel arc and updated my graphic driver to the latest one but no difference in issue.

3rd, I guess its the same as 2nd one.

The game is Valorant.

I found this link from the Intel website: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000095100/graphics.html

It seems that they are investigating this issue and they provided some work around.

Hi, Atom366.

Thank you for posting in our Community.

I understand that you are having fps drop or lagging issues, while gaming on the Valorant game. However, Intel is currently investigating this issue, and we will do further research on this matter and post the response on this thread once available. In the meantime, please turn on the Vignette option in the game settings to reduce stuttering, as a workaround. The Vignette option is a visual effect that darkens the edges of the screen, which can improve the performance and stability of the game.

CPU goes to 95 degrees and cca 50 wats and than it suddenly drops to 60 degrees and 15 wats and it starts to lag a lot from like 140 fps to 40 it happens when I play fortnite and rainbow six seige too.

Hi, Atom366.

Apologize for the long wait.

We are still in the process of replicating and isolating the issue. However, I would like to share with you this article/link, (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000089687/graphics.html) - Low Performance While Playing Valorant* Using Intel® HD Graphics 530, as it seems that you only have an integrated graphics card.

If the issue remains unresolved, please let us know.
