I used to never have this problem but with the new chapter 5 my fps is fine but I think it is when loads of particles come it crashes straight away) It freezes and a few seconds later closes. I am on intel core i3-4170 with HD Graphics 4400. I have tried all the methods I have seen online and I think I have the latest drivers. I get more stable fps now after downloading the drivers but it hasn’t helped my crashing issue. This is new in chapter 5.

game settings:

resolution: 1280 x 720

3d res : 20%

everything else on low

it usually happens in battle royal after the new things have been added. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

DB255, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to this scenario, it is important to mention that the Intel® Core™ i3-4170 processor is under the status of End Of Interactive Support / Discontinued as you can verify in the link below:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/77490/intel-core-i3-4170-processor-3m-cache-3-70-ghz.html

So, Intel® technical support will no longer be provided for this kind of product, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products Website helpful to address your request:

Your Intel Core i3-4170 with HD Graphics 4400 might struggle with the increased particle effects in the new Chapter 5 update. Try lowering your resolution further or reducing 3D resolution to alleviate the strain on your system.
