Help with unlocking fps

I want to unlock FPS so I can run Half-Life at 100fps. My laptop has the Intel Graphics Command Center. It won't let me change the Unlock FPS setting because Adaptive Sync is disabled, and it will not let me enable it (the switch is greyed out). Is there any way for me to turn it on, or otherwise allow the game to run at a higher frame rate? I haven't changed any other settings. I am using an HP laptop.

(I'm unsure if this is the right location for this question, apologies if it is not)

Edit - I am aware that 60 fps is perfectly playable normally, but I would like to try speedrunning the game, and have been told that "it really is impossible to play properly at 60fps". I would not care otherwise..

Hello tyuef,

We noticed that you are attempting to use our IGCC to unlock the FPS, however this is an outdated function for IGCC because we have switched to an arc control panel.

It's also good that you are using latest version from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Just to further isolate the issue, kindly please try to update your graphics driver using our latest generic driver version at this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html

After doing so, please modify the global settings in the Arc control panel. You may follow this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000095281/graphics.html

Hello tyuef,

Don't worry you have posted in the correct location. I do have some questions about where your game came from. Did your game came from Steam? I also want to check your system requirements, Please also download and Intel® System Support Utility located at this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html. After running it, you will be given an option to save the logs to a .txt file, please do so and attach the file on your reply.

I have the Steam version installed, but am trying to run the WON version that I installed from here. Both versions do not go past 60 even after using in-game console commands that work for other people.

The file should be attached! Thank you

Hello tyuef,

I have seen that you have replied to the post. I did found this community thread from steam for your inquiry: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=843700257. However, from your statement. It does seem like you have tried this as well. I'll coordinate this with our team to check if there are other options and keep this thread posted once I have the information.
