Intel® Application Optimization List of Games

Hello, I noticed that the new games, including CS2, are not showing on the APO list despite the recent update. Some users have mentioned that the update will only become active with the release of the 15900K processor. Can you confirm this and provide a timeline for when the update will be fully active?

Hello birdstree,

I understand that you seek further information about Intel® Application Optimization. For me to check this internally, could you provide me with more games that you are trying to find on the list?

I hope to hear from you soon!

I am only looking for Counter Strike 2 (CS2) on the list. In the recent update Intel stated that CS2 would be part of the list.

Sincerely

Birds

Hello birdstree,

I've checked and can see that Counter Strike 2 is included on the List of Games. I'd like to share you the information that, available games may vary depending on the system configuration. If you are not seeing the game on your list, it is possible that it is not validated for your system configuration.

Your releases state that new games have been added to the list of compatible games for Intel APO; however, you do not have any information about which games are optimized for which processors.  This information should be readily available to users so they can make informed decisions when buying processors, etc.  Please provide the information so people will not be forced to find out only after purchasing the CPU and installing the DTT/APO.  More transparency is required here.

Hi. Thanks for reply.

Yes I am aware of both articles. What I meant was that, when I open the Intel Application Optimization program itself, Counter Strike 2 are not showed on the list of individual applications to enable/disable.

Shown in picture.

Hello birdstree,

I've checked on your concern thoroughly and I'd like to inform you that some games will show up on the list only when unlocking the Advance Mode. You may choose to use Advanced Mode at your own risk, but we cannot guarantee any improvement or optimization to processor or games under this mode of operation.

I see that you were able to use the Advance Mode, however available games for supported systems may vary based on configuration. You may check if your processor has limited support here - Intel® Application Optimization Overview

Things to take note of:

  • Advanced Mode is only available with Intel® DTT 11405 or later versions, which is available through your system manufacturer. Unfortunately, some system manufacturers may not have the latest Intel® DTT yet available to utilize the Intel® Application Optimization with Advanced Mode.

  • Default enabled list may vary by platform/generation.

Let me know if this information has addressed your concern. If you have other questions, please feel free to respond.

Thanks for reply. I have the i5-12400f , therefore it is limited supported in APO's advanced mode. Is that why *Counter Strike 2 is not showing  when I enable advance mode?

@birdstree I have the 13700K with the latest drivers, etc.  It doesn't show on my list, either.  Even in advanced mode, it is not there.

Hi birdstree,

Yes, that's right. The reason why you are not able to see all the list of games is because of the processor. 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Mobile Processors is included on the list wherein Advance mode has limited support.

If you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thank you!

Well I do NOT have a mobile processor (12th Gen Intel® Core™ Mobile Processors), I have the desktop processor (Alder Lake) Core i5 12400f

What then?

Hi birdstree,

I apologize for the confusion. Intel 12th generation mobile and desktop processors both has limited support with Advance Mode. You may check out this link to get this information: Intel® Application Optimization Overview

I posted a reply above that has not been replied to.  I have a 13700K.  The game (CS2) does not appear on my list, either.  Separately, your website hasn't been updated to show which games are covered (the link you provided).  There is no effective way to know whether your processor will support CS2 or not.

I have games not showing up also. I have Cyberpunk 2077 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider not showing in the app.
I'm running a 14900K with the latest drivers and BIOS. The DTT driver is 11703.
What else is needed to get the games to show??

Do we need to create a new thread?  Everyone here is experiencing the same issue, regardless of processor, which suggests that the issue is likely the same for all of us.  Isn't that the case?

Having the same problem here. Running a 14900KS, and CS2 does not show up in the games list. Would appreciate if this was solved soon, I have all the latest drivers and software.

Hello @JBGoldrich, @AngrasCS

After checking internally, we have identified that certain games, despite being listed on the supported list, are not appearing. This issue is likely due to the compatibility and performance uplift criteria specific to your processor and system configuration.
