I have a iBUYPOWER AW4 360mm ARGB Liquid Cooler and when playing battlefield 2042 my temps settle in the low to mid 80s, and can reach even higher when loading into either the game or the map.
I know these new 14th gen chips run pretty hot and that these are within the parameters for the chip to function without throttling. I'm just wondering if these temps are normal and if I should be worried about the longevity of it.
I also have a MSI PRO Z790-P motherboard, and it's bios is fully updated. I was considering doing either a remount with new thermal paste or even maybe undervolting if anyone knows what the best way to go about that is.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi Jvar32,
Thank you for reaching out with your concerns about the temperatures of your i9-14900KF when playing Battlefield 2042. I understand your interest in ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of your system, and I'm here to provide some guidance. If you're concerned about the longevity of your CPU, there are a few steps you can consider:
Ensure you use a high-quality thermal paste and apply it evenly. This can help improve thermal conductivity between the CPU and cooler, potentially lowering temperatures. This can reduce heat output and power consumption, but it requires careful adjustment to avoid instability. Ensure your liquid cooler is functioning optimally, with no blockages or pump issues. Regular maintenance can help keep temperatures in check. Ensure your room temperature is not contributing to higher CPU temps. Adequate airflow in your PC case can also help.
