Whether intel HD graphics 630 support 10 bit color under openGL.If not whether intel plans to add this feature in future driver versions.

Hello,
I have gone though the document.It is mentioned that it supports OpenGL 5.0 not 10 bit OpenGL 5.0.I want to confirm whether the driver is capable of outputing 10 bit color in OpenGL.Expecting your immediate and thoroughly verified reply.

One more point.I'am unaware of OpenGL5.0.According to my information the latest release is OpenGL4.6.Can you share the details regarding OpenGL5.0.

AmalAshok: I just wanted to let you know that I just received some updates on the research we did on this subject and actually the driver does not support 10-bit color OpenGL, as you can confirm on the following link, page 16:

In regard to OpenGL 5.0, it will be release in the future, currently the latest version is OpenGL 4.5 as you can see on the link below, page 2:

I have gone through the technical white paper on 10 bit opengl but the paper is dated december 2015.Can you confirm whether it is still valid on the current intel hd 630 drivers.

Hi AmalAshok: In regard to your question, there is no information about unreleased products, the decision will also depend on the demand of the market. Currently there is not an official statement from Intel saying the 10-bit openGL will be supported for this graphics controller in the future.
