15.46 breaks YCbCr on DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0

After upgrading to the latest HD 530 driver for WIndows 10 x64, I noticed that choosing YCbCr causes signal loss to my screen. This option worked perfectly with the previous driver version 15.45 so I reverted back.

I'm using an i3-6100 with ASRock Deskmini and a 4K LG capable of 4:4:4 connected to PC over DP 1.2 and adapter to HDMI 2.0.

I haven't posted here before so please let me know what other information I can provide to help this along.

Thanks

I had exactly the same problem on my Chuwi Hi13 tablet 2+1, with Edge browser and Netflix, also Netflix app for Windows 10.

I can confirm that the latest driver (for Intel HD Graphics 500) fixed the problems here.

Hello jun1us,

We usually do not support the usage of converters/adapters, but we want to pursue this issue. We recently released a new driver 24.20.100.6025 and your feedback is very important to us. Please try installing the graphics driver that is on this link https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27680/a08/win64_24.20.100.6025.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27680/a08/win64_24.20.100.6025.zip

Hello everyone,

You should be able to set the desired video output range for Non-Native HDMI connections by opening the Intel Graphics Control Panel > go to Video > "Basic " or "Color Enhancement" > Input range > Driver Settings > Full.

Please let me know if this works for you.

Best Regards,

Hi,

I'm having the same issue connecting my Panasonic Plasma TV

with my PC through a very simple Displayport to HDMI Converter.

Latest driver.

No quantization options availabe.

Seems as if TV is set to YCbCr mode.

With the advice from post before I can look make colours

in videos normal, but desktop colours have crushed blacks...

Someone has to find out, what disables the quantization options.

And bring them back, whatever connection/display is used.

Thanks.
