Hi
I bought Philips 298P4QJEB monitor with 2560x1080 resolution but i cant connect it to my notebook (Asus zenbook ux21e) with right resolution (allows 1920x1080 only) by hdmi cable.
There is Intel(R) HD Graghics 3000 video drive on notebook. I installed last drivers (9.17.10.3223 from 27.06.2013) but it didn't work. Although it installed strange - the display switched off and i had to restart notebook from power-button.
I have win7 home premium system.

I just made a custom resolution with Intel Graphics and media controld panel.
I made 2560x1080 @40Hz, @59iHz, @60iHz but all of them tinkles which is uncomfortable (used them in single display mode).
I couldn't make @60Hz -> the "custom resolution exeeds max bandwidth capacity" message apears.

i updated bios and it allowed to set 60Hz to my custom 2560x1080 resolution.
So everything is fine now.
