3d applications within the browser page

We are creating 3d applications using OpenSceneGraph. Most of these applications are running as browser plugins for Mozilla, Chrome and IE. We are facing a problem with few of Intel Integrated cards. When these cards are set in accelerated mode the application, whether running from browser or as a client application, executes in fullscreen mode. Typically for the applications running as browser plugins there is no escape of close button. It appears with the browser and exits with it.

In such a scenario the user doesn't know what to do or how to exit the application. We do not expect the user to go to the graphics cards settings and turn off the accelerated mode settings. Can anyone help with a solution for the above mentioned problem, either by programmatically or by a driver upgrade?

Thanks
