945 express chipset family works in asymmetric dual channel without flex memory technologiy support

Hi Community!

Can someone tell me how it is possible that the 945 family work in asymmetric dual channel without flex mode technology?

My searches explains only that asymmetric mode require the flex mode technology!

According the datasheets the 945 family doesn´t support the flex mode but asymmetrics is possible.

Can someone tell me the truth?

what´s the different between the flex mode and the asymmetric mode?
