i've had my netbook for about 1 and a half years, and never had aproblem with it.
this January it had to get a BIOS upgrade so i sent it to a Acer service center for them to do it.
a month later my screen resolution started having problems
i downloaded all the new drivers
but they only work temparily, till i shut down the netbook
is there any hope to my unusual problem?
help will be much appriciated

This looks like it may be an issue with the display connection. I would recommend you contact ACER for again support.

thank you your answer, but im in another country and it cost a lot for them to just diagnose it.
but when i uninstall everything it goes back
or if i install the drivers again
the reboot ruins it
i've opened it already no cable seems altered
is there a .config file or some editing file for me to alter any sttings?

Sorry, not that I'm aware of.
Try installing the driver provided on Acer's* web site.
This seems like it is not recognizing your monitor correctly, but this will be the first time I see something like this.

i have downloaded both the chipset and the vga driver, both installed, it fixes the screen but when i shut down for the night and turn it back on in the morning it would reset to mirroring and the black bar on the side like from top pics.
ive tried updating the drivers for both monitors and chipsets to what they are supposed to be, but still nothing

Yes, it is normal because of the dual pipe.
Have you tried reinstalling the operating system in your computer, install the chipset driver and then the video driver?

If you mean not using an actual CD because your system does not have an optical unit then yes, it can be done with a flash drive, but it is a very long and tedious job. You can fins it all over the Internet but note that you will loose a bunch of time.
I don't have one of those notebooks, but I heard that they have a partition with the restore system information and sometimes with a copy of the operating system. You can try that.
