Aero crashing on Win7 with an i7-6700HQ

Hi !

I bought a brand new MSI PE70 6QE with Win10, but for some reasons I decided to install Windows 7 instead.

The problem is that after installing all the last drivers, everything is running well EXCEPT that the computer is unable to run Aero more than 30 minutes. It makes quite mad because my older computer (with an i5 and only 6Go of DDR3) had no problems running it, and now that I bought a good computer (i7-6700HQ and 24Go of DDR4) it doesn't survive to Aero.

It looks like the integrated graphics are not powerfull enought. Can someone help me with my problem? I'd really like to run Aero smoothly on a computer with that configuration !

Thanks a lot, and sorry for my english !

Sorry for the delay guys !

I just installed the new driver, but I'm not home so I can not perform the other tests you're asking for. I'll do them tomorrow afternoon when I'll get home and I'll have my second screen.

Concerning the HDMI cable, I tried with 3 different ones, and the results were the same. But it's true that the computer doesn't have any performance problems when any other screen is plugged !

I'll keep you updated, and once again, sorry for the delay !

Have a good day,

Thomas.

Hi Esteban, I performed some tests.

The problem is still there with the new driver. It's also still there when I disable the NVIDIA Graphic Card.

I then tried to find some events that can match with my problem. I don't know if these 3 have anything to see with it, but they appeared at the same time as the lag.

Unfortunately I didn't find a way to show events "live", as soon as they occur ! So I tried to find some by my own, I hope that these 3 can help you :

If you need me to search for more, tell me, and also if there is a manner to sort all the events by date, it would be much easier !

Thanks !
