Hi,
I'm running a new Intel Arc A750 LE 8 GB in my System and found out that the Intel Arc Control Panel shows my Shader Model as Version 5.1
I tried Raytracing Games and apparently in "Deliver us the Moon" RT seems to work. But as is tried to enable VRS and RT in World of Warcraft, the Game reports that the current Shader Model is not compatible and requires Version 6.
I read multiple times about this problem, some seem to have fixed it, but there was never a way described, mostly only states use DDU and reinstall drivers.
I tried that multiple times and the Arc Control Panel still every time states Shader Model 5.1 and WoW says incompatible.
Furthermore, I saw in another post that an SSU Log might be helpful, so I attach one, I'll also include a DxDiag log.
I sincerely hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Paddi242,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Communities to report issues with your Intel Arc graphics system. We understand that you are facing problems related to the supported Shader Model of your graphics card. The Arc Control software is reporting that the version is 5.1 and when you try to play World of Warcraft with VRS and RT enabled, you receive an error message stating that this is not supported.
We would be happy to help you with both issues, but we recommend reporting one issue per thread to keep everything organized. We will assist you on this thread regarding the problem with the Arc Control software and invite you to open a new thread related to the World of Warcraft issue.
Regarding the Arc Control software, we would like to ask you for the following information:
- Has this issue been present since you started using the software?
- Please provide a screenshot of the Arc Control software under the "System Capabilities" section.
- If possible, please check third-party software such as GPU-Z or Msft DX Capabilities Viewer to see if there is a difference in the shader support.
- Please share the Arc Control software files with us: C:\Users\<your_username_here>\AppData|Local\Intel\IGN\logs
Best regards

Hi Jean,
Thanks for reaching out!
I will answer the Questions in order:
As i just stumbled upon this section of the Software it seems to me present from the beginning - but again i can not say anything different as my beginning is also just a maximum of 1-2 Weeks.
I added Screenshots of the Arc Software.
I checked GPU-Z, on the main Page i could not find anything but under advanced it showed some DirectX things - i'll add some screenshots as i can not really interpret what i am supposed to find here.
I also add all Log files i could find in the given directory.
Kind regards

Hello Paddi242,
Thank you for the information provided. Based on the new details, we would like to let you know that Intel is currently investigating a problem with the Arc Control software that appears to report the wrong shader support compared to third-party applications: GPU Z shows that the shader model is 6.6 while the Arc Control software reports the shader model as 5.1. We will proceed to look into this matter internally, checking all the details you have shared with us. We will post back as soon as we have more details.
Best regards

Is there any advance on this mater?
Arc-770 LE 16GB
I seem to have the same issue here. ARC Control showing shader version 5.1 and GPU-Z showing version 6.6.
Directx11 Games are having shading issues specially with shadows and reflections. (Le Mans Ultimate, Assetto corsa competizione, rFactor2, Automobilista2, Call of Duty modern warfare...)
IFWI 20.0.1068
Driver 31.0.101.5194 (I just did a removal of drivers with DDU and reinstalled everything today as a clean install)

Hello Paddi242,
We greatly appreciate your patience. I'm pleased to share that our extensive testing over the past few months indicates that the graphics driver version 32.0.101.5762 resolves the issue with the shader. We advise you to update this driver version and inform us of the results. Please ensure to use DDU before proceeding with the update to version 32.0.101.5762.
Your feedback is valuable to us, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
