Hello, I am having low fps in game called arc raiders. not in other games. i have like under 60fps high settings 1080p with very decent pc, i have clean installed windows, all drivers.

Specs are cpu ryzen 7 5800x, 16 gb ram, gpu intel arc a770 (activated Rebar), m.2 ssd.

The game recommended gpu to run game is arc b570 (wich is slower than a770) with 1440p  and high settings to achiev over 60 fps. could this be a intels driver issue?

I tried lovering settings to low and even XeSS performance and still fps only 70s

nvidias gpu rtx 3060 (what is same power as a770) is perfoming alot better (80-90fps on 1080p high settings)

Best regards Nicsaa

Hi Nicsaa,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I appreciate your message and want to assure you that I’m here to help with your concern. To better understand the issue and provide accurate support, could you please share the following details:

  1. Are you running Arc Raiders through Steam, Epic Games Store, or another launcher?
  2. Have you tried running the game in fullscreen versus borderless windowed mode?
  3. Have you enabled Hardware Scheduling in Windows Graphics Settings for your Arc A770?
  4. What power management mode is set for your Arc A770 (Performance or Balanced)?
  5. During gameplay, what are your GPU utilization percentages (you can check with MSI Afterburner or similar tools)? What are your CPU usage levels per core during the game? Is your system RAM usage approaching the 16GB limit?
  6. You mentioned other games work fine—could you name 2–3 specific titles that run well and their approximate FPS? Are these games using similar graphics APIs or engines as Arc Raiders?
  7. Have you used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) before updating or installing graphics driver 32.0.101.8247?

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Hi Nicsaa,

Thank you for getting back to me. Please answer the following questions to help us further investigate your concern:

  1. What is the refresh rate of your monitor?
  2. Are you currently using any overlay applications?
  3. What is your current Windows power plan configuration?
  4. Have you tried limiting the in-game FPS to 60?

Additionally, please try the following steps:

1. Clean Driver Installation

2. Force DirectX 11 in Steam

  • In Steam, right-click Arc RaidersPropertiesLaunch Options.
  • Add: -dx11 (forces DirectX 11 instead of DX12).
  • Test Arc Raiders performance.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • Restart and reinstall Intel Arc driver 32.0.101.8247 (WHQL Certified).
  • Test Arc Raiders performance.

2. Windows Graphics Settings

Still issues after patces and new drivers. Are intel aware of this ? Games fps was fine with dx11 but game stuttered alot. With directx12 no stutter but low fps. Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (system-wide setting) is not supported on arc a770.
