I purchased an Asrock b570. Intel Arc Graphics software only detects 15 instead 18 XE cores as per spec. Is there a solution to this or is it a defect?

there might be a discrepancy between what the Intel Arc Graphics software is detecting and the expected number of XE cores for your Asrock B570. what is the version of your graphics? Try to update your graphics. newer drivers or firmware updates can resolve detection issues. Uninstall and reinstall the Intel Arc Graphics software to ensure there are no installation issues causing the software to misread the hardware specs. Some motherboard settings can affect how the system detects the hardware. Ensure that there are no settings in your BIOS that might limit the number of active cores or affect detection.

The latest driver update fixed the issue. It appears to have been a bug.

It's still only detecting 15 xe cores after reinstalling the drivers and Intel graphics software. The reinstall added a tuning option (overclocking?) that was not present before, but no change otherwise.
