Hello Jan_Bora2024,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you’re experiencing with your system. To better assist you, I need to gather some additional information. Could you please answer the following questions?

  1. Has this issue occurred before?
  2. Can you please run the System Support Utility (SSU) and share the logs with me?
  3. How did you perform the last update? Did you use a device manager-clean installation or Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) before updating to the latest graphics driver?
  4. Are there any recent software and hardware changes made on the system?
  5. What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to fix the issue aside from driver update?
  6. Have you tried rolling back to the previous graphics driver version?

  • The 0x00000116 Blue screen error can occur when running a task with high graphic usage.
  • Faulty hardware drivers and corrupt system files can cause the error.

Providing this information will help me diagnose the system more accurately and check for available solutions. Thank you for your cooperation, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Hello Support Team,

1. We have been experiencing this issue since January 3rd, and so far, we’ve found it on three computers.
2. I ran the System Support Utility on the computers and have shared the logs with you in the file section.
3. No, I haven’t tried Display Driver Uninstaller.
4. No, I haven’t changed any software or hardware.
5. I haven’t tried any troubleshooting because all three computers (GB-BEi5-12XX) are identical:
* I installed a fresh version of Windows on one of them with the latest driver version.
* I updated another one with the new driver version.
* The last one is using the old driver version.
All three computers were reset by a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), and they all show the same problem.
6. No, the issue occurs even with the old driver version.

That was all of Information that I can give you guys.

Hello Jan_Bora2024,

I wanted to clarify some information. Could you please let me know where you obtained the driver you used? Was it manually installed, or did it come from a Windows update? Please note that this is an OEM device, so we will try to assist you with general troubleshooting steps. However, if the issue persists, you will have to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer ( GB-BEi7HS-1260 (rev. 1.0) Key Features | BRIX (Mini-PC Barebone) - GIGABYTE Global) of your device. Your device manufacturer may have altered features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to some components for better compatibility with your system.

You may try the following steps below:

Check memory modules contact field technician if possible.

  • Remove and reinstall the memory modules
  • If two memory modules are installed, try one at a time.
  • Try moving the memory module from one slot to the other.
  • Try different memory modules you know to be good.

Check the drive

  • Remove and reinstall the storage drive
  • Test the drive on a different system, if available.
  • Try a different drive.

Check for thermal issues

  • Please contact Gigabyte for tailored troubleshooting regarding overheating issues for this unit.

Check the Network Boot setting in BIOS

If Network Boot is enabled in BIOS, random restarts or blue screen errors can occur.

  1. Press F2 during start to enter BIOS Setup.
  2. Go to Advanced > Boot > Boot Configuration.
  3. Disable Network Boot - OR - enable Boot Network Devices Last.
  4. Press F10 to save and exit BIOS.

Update BIOS, drivers, and firmware

BIOS recovery

  • Please contact Gigabyte for tailored troubleshooting regarding BIOS settings and configuration.
  • Load BIOS default settings.

If issue persists, contact Support Services Center - GIGABYTE Global to discuss the steps you tried and for further troubleshooting.
