This is an embedded application, hardware manufactured by Intel's Embedded Channel Partner!
In a DOS application, onboard serial ports (COM 1/2/3/4) work fine on 875P chipset but not on 865 Chipset and beyond!
For chipsets Intel 865 and beyond only COM 1 & COM 2 work fine, while COM 3 and COM 4 show no response!
Is there any functional difference in the two chipsets which can affect COM 3/4 not to work on 865 Chipset?
