CPU Upgrade

Hello.

I would like to know if it is possible to improve this Laptop, I don't know much about that topic and from what I was reading, only Celeron and Pentium processors can be installed since the board has an HM70 Chipset (Panther Point). Is that so?

The only thing I improved was the RAM, from 2GB to 8GB. I was also thinking of changing the HDD drive for an SDD drive.

I would appreciate it if you could help me.

You need to consult with your laptop manufacturer as to what processors are supported by their bios, and if you are able to upgrade.

 

Changing from HDD to SSD will give you your biggest performance improvement.
