This is the exact driver for HD Graphics 5500.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

What you are likely seeing is that your hardware is simply too old for the game.

I don't understand how I can play the game I just can't tab out and minimise the game it's really annoying there has to be a fix because 1.21.1 works really good but in 1.21.2 and 1.21.3 does not work what did they add?

Thank you

The last driver was updated 3.5 years ago.  How new is the game?

There was a parallel driver development path that, if installed, will prevent this new driver from installing. Similarly, if the package used previously was customized by the motherboard/system manufacturer, the same errors will occur. To get around this, you need to do a clean install of this new driver. Here is my step-by-step process for doing so:

  1. Download - but do not install just yet - the latest driver package from the Intel site.
  2. Very important! Disable the system's access to the Internet. Unplug Ethernet cable and/or disable Wireless. Note: if using Wireless, it should be disabled in such a way that reboots can occur without it automatically re-enabling.
  3. In the Apps and Features applet, check to see if there is an Intel HD Graphics or Intel Graphics entry. If not, skip to Step 6.
  4. Click on the Intel HD Graphics or Intel Graphics entry and select Uninstall.
  5. Reboot the system, keeping Internet access disabled.
  6. From Device Manager, check if there is an entry for an Intel Graphics adapter in the Display Adapters category. If you see only the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, skip to Step 10.
  7. Right-click on the entry for the Intel Graphics adapter and select Uninstall Device. Checkmark Delete the driver software for this device and then click on the Uninstall button.
  8. Repeat step 7 until the entry for an Intel Graphics adapter entry no longer appears in the Display Adapters category or the option to Delete the driver software for this device is greyed out.
  9. Go back to Step 5.
  10. Install the new driver package that you downloaded in Step 1.
  11. Reboot the system.
  12. Reenable Internet access.
  13. Test.

Depending upon the history of your Windows/Drivers installation, it may take multiple uninstall (and reboot) cycles to clean out the old installations, so don’t give up on the process. If you get to, say, 10 cycles, stop there and attempt the installation of the downloaded driver package.

Hope this helps,

...S
