I am using Levono ThinkPad T450s with Intel® Core™ i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz and Intel® HD Graphics 5500 (OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64bit)
I connect my laptop with a Dell P2415q. It can be able to run with 4k resolution at 60Hz but only 30fps (shown in xrandr) which causes some lagging when I try switching between multiple windows.
So I am wondering that do we have any additional drivers or packages which can improve the FPS or it is the limitation of HD5500?
Thanks a lot

Hi qtdzz,
The maximum resolutions are the following:
DisplayPort resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz
HDMI is 4096x2304 at 24 Hz or 2560x1600 at 60 Hz.
More details on page 35.

Only the 6th gen NUCs support 4K @ 60 Hz.
