I have a 19 inch monitor, resolution 1440x900. I can't get that resolution. Intel has released a graphics driver to specifically address this issue, I dowloaded and ran the file, but it installed the old driver. What should I do?
My fist suggestion is to install the monitor driver. It is usually provided with your monitor and you can also download it from the monitor manufacturers web site.
Make sure that you are not using any adapters. If your computer has a DVI port your monitor should be DVI also.
