I have DriverEasy installed to keep most of my stuff up to date, but for some reason every time I go to update my i-gpu driver it stays the old version. My laptop originally came in Win 7/8 but I've upgraded to 10. This is the only issue I've ever had. I tried manually installing the driver from the exe file as well as in device manager from the zip file. No luck, but no errors either. The driver version never changes in device manager though. Restarted the laptop each time after installation.

Well, that's totally not confusing on intel's part... thanks for the info.
Looks like driver-easy is throwing a false flag then. Guess Ill set it to ignore that particular driver
