Changing color depth on Intel UHD graphics

Hi

I use a Dell G15 5510 that has Intel UHD graphics, im not sure where to find color depth setting as i want to change it to 8 bpc. Im looking for this setting because i am unable to run games or any application on fullscreen otherwise.

This is a Comet Lake platform (10th Gen). The color depth of the integrated display can't be changed via eDP. The driver doesn't offer this manual setting. However, I'd be surprised if the built-in display doesn't already run at 8-bit color depth. Please check here:

If you connect an external monitor via HDMI, you can adjust the color depth via the Nvidia Control Panel.

 

  1. From the Nvidia Control Panel navigation tree pane, under Display, click Change resolution to open the Change Resolution page.

  2. Click the Color depth list arrow and then select the color depth you want to set.
