Is it possible to use collage mode if I used a usb connected display like my phone?

Can I enable it through IGCC? Is it supported?

Hello GnXs1s,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to further check this, please help provide the following details:

  1. What is the model of your Graphics controller?
  2. What is the brand and model of your system?
  3. Just to check, is your phone detected as another display if you connect it via USB?
  4. Are you having errors while trying to set this up?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Best regards,

My gpu is Intel Iris Xe, my laptop brand is Acer and the model is Aspire Lite 15 with Intel i5 11th gen processor, I checked my phone in IGCC and it was in fact not detected as a 2nd display but on the os settings and the Intel Graphics software (but cant be configured since it is not an intel display) it was detected, theres no errors.

I used a software called SuperDisplay that uses USB Debugging to connect my phone as a second display. I can extend it, change the res and aspect ratio. The software drivers also needed to be installed in the laptop for it to work.

I am sending another follow up to check if you still have questions or clarifications.

And also, please contact your OEM laptop manufacturer for further assistance.

Since we have not heard back from you, I need to close this inquiry.
